Automatic Operation
The products to be dried are placed in baskets or on plate trays mounted on a trolley. The racks or trolleys are automatically moved into the drying tunnel. The drying tunnel has an in-built system to convey the racks or trolleys either continuously or intermittently through the tunnel. The conveying speed is selected to suit the product to be dried. Your products are gently – low temperature – and stress-free dried within the desired time frame.
Trial Drying for Best Results
We run series of tests in our pilot plant station to evaluate the parameters relevant for successful drying – temperature, humidity, time, air speed and airflow rate. The results form the basis for further design. Our experience and your know-how are then merged to find the best solution.
Rack / Trolley Size
The number of trays on the rack or on the trolley is specified by you or is as required to accommodate the desired product quantity. We are flexible as to the size of the racks or trolleys. As standard size, tunnel dryers are designed to accommodate europallets. Alternatively, our drying system may be modified to accommodate your existing racks or trolleys. And, of course, we also offer the complete drying system including customised racks or trolleys.
