Reliable and stain-free drying at 75 °C max. of delicate plastic parts for fittings placed on a double workpiece carrier – these were the requirements of a fitting manufacturer. After positive drying tests Harter developed a customized design because drying of double workpiece carriers poses a major challenge. The system installed is a double chamber type – “blowing off & pre-drying” and “drying”. The delicate fitting parts are first subjected to non-compressed air blowing and then dried at 60 °C to become fully dry without any staining. This is done using carbon saving heat pump technology that is eligible for government subsidy.
