Completely dry, gently treated \u2013 all within the drum and within the cycle time. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Phoenix Feinbau GmbH &amp; Co. KG from L\u00fcdenscheid had already discarded its previous centrifugal dryer in 2005 and replaced it with a drum dryer. For the highly sensitive stamped metal parts, which are coated in their in-house electroplating facility, they wanted to improve the drying process and finally eliminate the annoying loss of quality caused by centrifuging. The company had heard of the alternative drying technology from Harter, which boasted that it could dry bulk materials directly in the container. &#8220;At that time, it was a conversion of an existing system.
