Nicolas Arnusch Now in Sales
Nicolas Arnusch, 27, pictured on the far left, has been strengthening our sales team since September 2024. As a qualified technical product designer, Arnusch brings profound technical knowledge, which owner Reinhold Specht considers an essential prerequisite for successful work.We are expanding our activities. As we continuously optimize our heat pump-based drying technology, it is finding applications in an increasing number of new industries. Custom plant engineering is highly consultation-intensive and requires extensive specialized knowledge. Owner Reinhold Specht therefore has a clear philosophy: “For technical sales, I only select employees who possess profound technical knowledge and can thus competently serve prospective clients and customers.” Naturally, the interpersonal component also plays an important role. Our sales team is delighted that, for the second time, a young man from our own ranks has moved into sales. Nicolas Arnusch completed an apprenticeship as a technical product designer with us. Subsequently, he worked as a project manager in design. After a longer stay abroad, Arnusch returned to Harter in January 2024 and has been in sales since September. As a product designer, he learned the plant technology from the ground up; as a project manager, he familiarized himself with project execution. In sales, he is now jointly responsible for the areas of surface technology, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, process technology, and wastewater, i.e., sludge drying. Arnusch explains his move: “After my time abroad, it was clear to me that I would return to Harter. The friendly atmosphere in this family business, the flat hierarchies, and the constructive collaboration here were essential aspects for me. Now I look forward to working in sales. Getting to know many people and the equally diverse products and technologies that our customers produce makes sales work very multifaceted and highly interesting.”
