HARTER’s Airgenex® technology enables gentle and energy-efficient drying directly after washing, rinsing, or degreasing. Thanks to targeted airflow and low drying temperatures, even critical areas such as bores, undercuts, or internal spaces are completely dried — without spot formation or thermal stress. The system operates independently of room climate, saves energy through a heat pump, and can be seamlessly integrated into existing cleaning processes.

Especially after cleaning, water spots or drying marks often occur. With Airgenex®, you can dry components evenly and residue-free — for a clean, high-quality result without manual polishing or re-drying.

Drying takes place at low temperatures of 30 to 75 °C — ideal for coated, painted, or sensitive surfaces. This protects components from stress cracks, deformation, or loss of gloss.

Airgenex® directs dry air precisely to where residual moisture collects — e.g., in bores, crevices, undercuts, or internal spaces. This ensures that even complex components are completely dried.

The drying can be directly connected to existing cleaning processes or integrated into cleaning systems — as a fully automatic line or a manual post-station. Flexible, space-saving, and efficient.

Airgenex® drying utilizes a closed-loop system with heat recovery. This significantly reduces energy consumption — a sustainable advantage over conventional hot air drying.

Drying Systems for Cleaning

For post-cleaning drying, HARTER offers compact cabinet dryers, automated tunnel dryers, and special solutions with targeted airflow. The systems can be individually adapted to component size, cycle time, and cleaning processes — ensuring efficient, spot-free drying directly after the washing process.

The Process

We dry with dry air and deliver it to the right places: A perfect interplay of air preparation and air guidance provides you with the best possible drying result.

Interface: Airgenex® Dehumidification Technology / Dryer – Moist air is extracted from the drying chamber and supplied to the dehumidification unit.

The pre-cooler pre-cools the air in a first stage. This significantly reduces the compressor’s energy consumption.

Moisture condenses on the fins of the air cooler and drains out of the drying system via the drip tray and condensate drain.

The cooled, dehumidified air is warmed up without additional energy by means of a pre-heater.
The air heater warms the air to the required process temperature.

The process air fan ensures the necessary air exchange between the Airgenex® dehumidification technology and the drying chamber.

Now, the dry, unsaturated air is guided into the drying chamber, where it absorbs the product’s moisture. Thus, the cycle is closed.
