Warehouse Specialist

 

What you will learn:

Warehouse specialists accept goods of all kinds and check their quantity and condition against the accompanying documents. You will organise the unloading of the goods, sort them and store them properly in pre-planned locations. In the outgoing goods department, you will plan the most cost-effective shipping method.

You will assemble deliveries and pack the goods. You will also load trucks and containers, operate forklifts and crane systems, and secure the cargo against slipping.

In addition, warehouse specialists optimise the internal information and material flow from goods receipt to goods issue.

What you should bring:

The requirements for an apprenticeship as a warehouse specialist with us are:

• You have a secondary school or intermediate school certificate
• You have logical and spatial reasoning skills
• You have organisational talent
• You work carefully and cautiously
• Teamwork is not a foreign concept to you
• You enjoy working on the PC

• Appropriate training remuneration: 1st year: 1,000 euros / 2nd year: 1,100 euros

This is what your path with us looks like:

• 2 years of training with us and at the vocational school in Kaufbeuren
  – Intermediate examination in the 1st year of training
  – Final examination in the 2nd year of training
• Degree: Warehouse specialist
• After passing the final examination as a warehouse specialist, the vocational training can, if necessary, be continued in the subsequent training occupation of warehouse logistics specialist.
