A coordinated air guidance system directs the dry process air through all areas of the basket. This allows you to achieve consistent results without over- or under-drying – even with complex geometries and high packing density.
Whether standard basket, sieve insert or special container: The basket dryer adapts to your existing components. This simplifies integration into existing processes and reduces additional investments.
With Vibarrel® baskets, slight vibration impulses keep the parts in motion. Deposits are avoided, drying times are reduced, the residual moisture is reached faster – ideal for very small parts and bulk material.

Low temperatures (30–75 °C) and dry process air prevent water stains and residues. Surfaces remain flawless – perfect after aqueous cleaning, galvanic treatment or ultrasonic processes.

The compact design allows use in a confined space. Modular design facilitates expansions and adaptation to cycle time, capacity and handling – from the laboratory to series production.
The basket dryer is suitable for manual loading as well as for automated loading and unloading. Shaker/rotation options support even drying for demanding geometries.

The Airgenex® technology works in a closed circuit with heat pump and heat recovery. This noticeably reduces energy consumption and increases process stability – regardless of the room climate.

The Process

We dry with dry air and deliver it to the right places: A perfect interplay of air preparation and air guidance provides you with the best possible drying result.

Interface: Airgenex® Dehumidification Technology / Dryer – Moist air is extracted from the drying chamber and supplied to the dehumidification unit.

The pre-cooler pre-cools the air in a first stage. This significantly reduces the compressor’s energy consumption.

Moisture condenses on the fins of the air cooler and drains out of the drying system via the drip tray and condensate drain.

The cooled, dehumidified air is warmed up without additional energy by means of a pre-heater.
The air heater warms the air to the required process temperature.

The process air fan ensures the necessary air exchange between the Airgenex® dehumidification technology and the drying chamber.

Now, the dry, unsaturated air is guided into the drying chamber, where it absorbs the product’s moisture. Thus, the cycle is closed.
