The continuous dryer operates continuously or in cycles. Conveyor speed and dwell time are precisely matched to the product, moisture content, and target residual moisture – ensuring stable quality with high throughput.

Precise airflow guidance directs the dry process air to where moisture escapes – across layers, baskets, or trays. This ensures homogeneous results without over-drying or under-drying.

Drying at moderate temperatures protects sensitive materials, surfaces, and packaging. Spot formation and thermal damage are avoided, and reject rates decrease.

Whether baskets, tray trolleys, or pallets: The continuous dryer adapts to your handling requirements. Standardized dimensions (e.g., Euro pallets) or individual formats can be accommodated equally.

The length, number of zones, and cross-section of the tunnel are adapted to the production volume and component geometry. This ensures the system remains future-proof and can be expanded if required.

The Airgenex® technology operates in a closed loop with a heat pump and heat recovery. This significantly reduces energy consumption and decouples drying from the room climate.

If required, a cooling stage can be integrated – ideal for processes that require defined component temperatures after drying, without additional equipment or footprint.

In drying tests, we determine temperature, humidity, time, air speed, and volume flow for your products. The parameters derived from these tests ensure reproducible results in series production.

The Process

We dry with dry air and deliver it to the right places: A perfect interplay of air preparation and air guidance provides you with the best possible drying result.

Interface: Airgenex® Dehumidification Technology / Dryer – Moist air is extracted from the drying chamber and supplied to the dehumidification unit.

The pre-cooler pre-cools the air in a first stage. This significantly reduces the compressor’s energy consumption.

Moisture condenses on the fins of the air cooler and drains out of the drying system via the drip tray and condensate drain.

The cooled, dehumidified air is warmed up without additional energy by means of a pre-heater.
The air heater warms the air to the required process temperature.

The process air fan ensures the necessary air exchange between the Airgenex® dehumidification technology and the drying chamber.

Now, the dry, unsaturated air is guided into the drying chamber, where it absorbs the product’s moisture. Thus, the cycle is closed.
