A renowned supplier required a special solution in the field of drying for a new series of components. The parts are small caps with a very sophisticated geometry, which are used in the automotive industry. They only need to be dried on their underside, where three small pins are attached. The workpieces, which may not be shown for reasons of confidentiality, are placed in plastic cassettes in groups of three dozen. The processing is carried out as follows: In order to achieve a lasting and optimal quality, the pins are isolated, then gold-plated and rinsed for optimum conductivity. After that, they must be dried.
