New Hall Creates Additional Capacity
Watch the Construction of our New Hall Here in 1 1/2 Minutes.
Harter has experienced very dynamic business development in recent years. We have successfully managed this steady growth by adding many new colleagues, but this has led to space constraints in our two production halls. By opening up further industries for our drying solutions, we anticipate a further increase in production in the coming years. The decision to build another production hall was therefore a logical consequence.
Thus, in mid-May 2020, the groundbreaking for “Hall 3” began with the earthworks, and by July, the foundations were already laid. The most impressive construction phase was probably the erection of the concrete supports, which were delivered completely prefabricated on huge transporters. In September, the hall cladding was installed, and in October, the roof was closed. And just in time for Christmas 2020, the new hall, measuring 50 x 30 meters and 12 meters high, complete with four cranes, was finished.
Our production can now be expanded by an additional 1,500 m², and the new hall will also be used for commissioning our drying systems. The new loading yard in front of the hall also provides 1,500 m² of space.
We are ready for “major” challenges!
