Harter has experienced very dynamic business development in recent years. We have managed the steady growth with many new colleagues in the best possible way, but as a result it has become cramped in our two production halls. By opening up new sectors for our drying solutions, we expect a further increase in production in the coming years. The decision to build another production hall was therefore only logical.
The starting signal for “Hall 3” was given in mid-May 2020 with the earthworks, and the foundations were laid as early as July. Probably the most impressive construction phase was the erection of the concrete columns, which were delivered completely prefabricated on huge transporters. In September, the hall cladding was installed, and in October the roof was closed. And on time from Christmas 2020, the new 50 x 30 metre and 12 metre high hall was ready with four cranes.
Our production can now be expanded on an additional 1,500 m2 , and the new hall will also be used to commission our drying facilities. The new loading yard in front of the hall also provides 1,500 m2 of space.
