Thanks to low drying temperatures between 30 °C and 75 °C, Airgenex® technology is ideally suited for sensitive watch parts. The components are dried evenly, without thermal deformation, stress cracks, or residue. Even the most delicate components remain dimensionally stable and functional – ideal for the requirements of the precision engineering industry.

Drying takes place in an energetically closed system and is therefore completely independent of humidity, temperature, or other climatic influences. This guarantees consistent, reliable results – even in changing production environments or sensitive manufacturing steps.

The heat pump technology with integrated heat recovery not only reduces energy consumption but also increases drying efficiency. The air flow is optimized so that drying only takes place where it is really necessary. This makes the process particularly economical – without compromising on quality.

Our drying solutions can be flexibly adapted to the geometry, quantity, and material diversity of your watch parts. Whether individual parts, assemblies, or series production – Airgenex® technology integrates seamlessly into existing processes and grows with your requirements if necessary.

Drying systems for watch parts

For drying watch parts, HARTER primarily uses cabinet dryers, basket dryers, and individually developed special solutions. These systems are based on Airgenex® heat pump technology and combine energy-efficient dehumidification with precise air flow. This ensures even, stain-free drying even with complex geometries or sensitive surfaces – reproducible, economical, and gentle on materials. All systems can be integrated into existing production lines or operated as self-sufficient units. On request, we develop customer-specific solutions precisely tailored to your production.

The Process

We dry with dry air and deliver it to the right places: A perfect interplay of air preparation and air guidance provides you with the best possible drying result.

Interface: Airgenex® Dehumidification Technology / Dryer – Moist air is extracted from the drying chamber and supplied to the dehumidification unit.

The pre-cooler pre-cools the air in a first stage. This significantly reduces the compressor’s energy consumption.

Moisture condenses on the fins of the air cooler and drains out of the drying system via the drip tray and condensate drain.

The cooled, dehumidified air is warmed up without additional energy by means of a pre-heater.
The air heater warms the air to the required process temperature.

The process air fan ensures the necessary air exchange between the Airgenex® dehumidification technology and the drying chamber.

Now, the dry, unsaturated air is guided into the drying chamber, where it absorbs the product’s moisture. Thus, the cycle is closed.
