A renowned chemical company now dries its pre-dewatered sewage sludge, which previously had to be disposed of as hazardous waste. For this purpose, 3 drying systems were installed, each with 6 containers with a volume of 1 m³ each.

_ Reclassification: The dried sludge can now be incinerated as residual waste.

_ Dry matter content after drying: > 70%

_ Drying temperature: 45°C

_ Water extraction rate: > 8 tons / day

_ Energy consumption < 0.4 kW per liter of water extraction

This enabled the operator to reduce its disposal costs by over 90%!
