Given their geometry, electropolished sieves for dishwashers cannot be dried easily. This is what a metal finishing company experienced. Originally, they had hot air drying integrated in their facility. Investment in a heat pump based condensation dryermade a big difference. Today, the sieves are dried completely and reliably at about 60 to 70 °C within eight minutes. The power consumption of the drying system with integrated air knife is about 13 kW.
