Alternative Drying Technology is State-Funded

Conventional hot air dryers often do not achieve the desired results. Drying is therefore the bottleneck in production in many places. And not infrequently, the old dryers are true energy guzzlers. It is therefore worth taking a look at an alternative drying process that has been classified by the state as an eligible technology.

We are talking about condensation drying based on heat pumps. It was developed by the drying system manufacturer Harter 30 years ago. This type of drying has a physically alternative approach and thus differs from conventional methods. Through
dehumidification with extremely dry air in an energetically closed system, products are dried quickly, safely and in an energy-saving manner.

Drying takes place in a variable temperature range of 20°–90° C, depending on the component and process. The process is flexible and can be used for batch operation or continuous applications. In addition to batch dryers such as rack dryers, Harter also implements the drying of bulk materials directly in the container. And the drying of industrial sludges from wastewater treatment is also part of its portfolio. A few examples from practice illustrate this.
