Change at Harter: Handover in Marketing
A personnel change is taking place at the dryer manufacturer Harter. On May 1, 2025, long-time employee Petra Schlachter will hand over her responsibilities to her successor, Sabrina Immler. Petra Schlachter joined the then small company in 1994 as a secretary. With its heat pump drying technology, Harter grew into a successful medium-sized company with 100 employees today. In the 1990s, Petra Schlachter began to take care of advertising for the Allgäu-based family business. This included advertising, press relations, trade fair organization, later the website and much more. Harter now has its own marketing department, which also includes Volker Hammernick as a designer. Petra Schlachter had specialized in copywriting. This also included many user reports, product and company announcements, which have appeared over the years in numerous trade journals and on online platforms. She has now transferred these and other tasks to Sabrina Immler. Immler completed an apprenticeship at Harter as a technical product designer. She is therefore very familiar with the technology about which she will be writing for the trade press in the future. Her responsibilities also include expanding social media activities. Katharina Wagner is responsible for technical documentation at Harter and will also support marketing in the future.
