The dryer manufacturer Harter is undergoing a personnel change. On May 1, 2025, long-time employee Petra Schlachter will pass on her responsibilities to her successor, Sabrina Immler. Petra Schlachter joined the then-small company in 1994 as a secretary. With its heat pump drying technology, Harter has grown into a successful medium-sized company with 100 employees today.

In the 1990s, Petra Schlachter took on advertising for the Allgäu-based family business, including print advertising, press relations, trade fair organization, and later the company website, among other tasks. Today, Harter has its own marketing department, which also includes designer Volker Hammernick. Petra Schlachter specialized in writing, producing numerous user reports, product announcements, and company news that have been published in various trade magazines and online platforms over the years. She has now handed over these and other responsibilities to Sabrina Immler.

Immler completed her training as a technical product designer at Harter, making her well-acquainted with the technology she will be writing about for the trade press in the future. Her responsibilities also include expanding the company’s social media activities.

Katharina Wagner, who is responsible for technical documentation at Harter, will also support the marketing team in the future.
