We are expanding our activities. Because we are constantly optimising our heat pump-based drying technology, it is being used in more and more new industries. The construction of special systems requires a great deal of consultation and expertise. Owner Reinhold Specht has a clear philosophy: ‘For technical sales, I only select employees who have sound technical knowledge and can therefore serve interested parties and customers reliably.’ Of course, the interpersonal component also plays an important role. Our sales team is delighted that, for the second time, a young man from our own ranks has now joined the sales team. Nicolas Arnusch trained as a technical product designer at our company. He then worked as a project manager in the design department. After an extended period abroad, Arnusch returned to Harter in January 2024 and has been working in sales since September. As a product designer, he got to know plant technology from the ground up, and as a project manager he familiarised himself with project management. In sales, he is now jointly responsible for the areas of surface technology, medical technology, pharmaceuticals, process technology and wastewater, i.e. sludge drying. Arnusch explains his move: ‘After my time abroad, it was clear to me that I would return to Harter. The friendly atmosphere in this family-run company, the flat hierarchies and the constructive teamwork here were essential aspects for me. Now I’m looking forward to working in sales. Getting to know a lot of people and the equally diverse products and technologies that our customers manufacture makes sales work very multifaceted and highly interesting.’
