Practising for an Emergency

Practising for an Emergency

The Stiefenhofen fire brigade staged their annual main fire drill at our premises. They had to respond to an industrial fire in a completely smoke-filled production hall with persons to be rescued from both the interior and rooftop of this hall. This way, the fire fighters also practised a high angle rescue operation using an aerial ladder which, by definition, is a large scale operation. So, fire brigades from neighbouring villages were also called in.

All fire fighters and rescuers did a good job, which we greatly appreciate. It is a big relief for us to know the volunteer fire women and men are now familiar with the details of our facilities and know what to do in case of an emergency.

We offered the Stiefenhofen fire brigade a solid meal in grateful return for their effort. The evening faded away in a joyful get-together.
