How drying can often generate profits

How drying can often generate profits

The collaboration between Galvano Wullimann and Harter is characterised by a long-standing and reliable partnership with a commitment to the highest quality. The southern German dryer manufacturer has realised several drying projects for the large Swiss electroplating company. In the process, drying times were reduced, capacities increased, quality ensured, energy costs lowered and space saved. The fact that Wullimann also received state subsidies rounded off the win-win package perfectly.

Galvano Wullimann from Selzach is one of the largest contract finishers in Switzerland. It specialises in the high-quality coating of a wide range of metal parts for the automotive, construction and fittings industries as well as furniture and mechanical engineering. Components for fasteners, stamped and construction parts are finished in 10 large-scale plants. Between 10 and 30 tonnes of functional and decorative surfaces are processed every day. Through the Swissgalvanic association, Wullimann became acquainted years ago with the dryer manufacturer Harter from the Allgäu region, whose customer base also includes many well-known companies from Switzerland. Harter developed its condensation drying system with heat pump over 30 years ago. With around 2000 dryers, mainly in the D-A-CH region, Harter has been able to solve many drying problems and optimise processes to date. With its heat pump technology, the southern German company was way ahead of its time. Today, this extremely energy-saving system is more in vogue than ever before. It is well known that energy saving is a decisive reason for investment today, alongside quality improvement. In addition, customers in Switzerland, Austria and Germany receive state subsidies for Harter dryers.
