Air Blowing Tunnels / Continuous Dryers

Fast and Reliable

Short throughput times and high throughput quantities are vital for continuous drying. Our heat pump based condensation drying is capable of drying products in a fast and reliable way. We customize our dehumidification technology to perfectly meet the requirements of your product and your throughput. For continuous drying to be accomplished within the desired time and at the optimum temperature, air routeing must be designed to perfectly meet the requirements of the product to be dried. This will normally be achieved by a combined air blowing and drying solution developed for the specific application.

For Larger Production Quantities

Continuous drying, which is always a fully automatic process, is suitable for high output applications. The quantities produced every minute or second may be dried, completely and gently, in exactly the same time. This can be done using a sophisticated combination of extremely dry air, targeted air routeing, and non-compressed air blowing technology, if required.

Air Blowing and Drying

In some applications, we offer a non-compressed air blowing provision. It uses purpose developed blowing nozzles. Air blowing may be implemented as a preliminary stage to drying proper or as a separate blowing station.

Closed System

One of the outstanding features of Airgenex® condensation drying systems is their closed air circuit. Continuous belt drying involves openings at the tunnel’s entrance and exit ends. We always try to minimize openings in the drying chamber to prevent undesired air loss and to keep the system as closed as possible.

Determination of Parameters

Specific parameters such as belt length, belt speed and air routeing are determined by drying tests run on our in-house pilot plant station. Then, we work out a successful drying solution in close co-operation with you!

Or rather a Batch Dryer?

It might be advisable, sometimes, to consider replacing continuous with batch drying. Projects realized have demonstrated the benefits of batch drying in situations where it relieves the need for product separation for placement on a belt and allows immediate drying of a full pallet of autoclaved products at a time. Fancy brainstorming?
